I was born in Canada and immigrated with my parents to the US when I was a young child. I was raised in Long Beach, California, where I received a BA at CSULB in psychology. I continued on to Alliant International University, where I received a MA in clinical psychology and was ABD with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, health emphasis. I then received a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Southern California Seminary. Since 1995, my experience in clinical psychology includes: 1) educational and neuroeducational assessment at colleges, hospitals, and clinical practices, and 2) individual, family, couple, and group counseling at nonprofit agencies, K-12 schools, DV shelters, psychiatric hospitals, and neurobehavioral residential facilities. I am currently the Executive Director of Rhombus and a Psychological Associate (PSB94024929) with Rhombus Counseling supervised by Dr. Julie Hayden (PSY24184) working with addictions, mental health difficulties, anxiety, depression, PTSD and more.
