New Vision Counseling Center is a non-profit organization offering low-cost counseling and psychological services for the community. Various levels of therapists are available and provide services at a number of locations. A trainee is a student still pursuing his/her Masters’ degree and under supervision. An MFT Associate has a Masters’ degree and is still gaining supervised hours toward licensure. A psychological assistant is a doctoral-level student or graduate still under supervision and gaining hours toward licensure. A licensed therapist has completed a qualified masters’ or doctoral degree, at least 3000 hours and has been granted licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Psychology. Rhombus is a for-profit agency aimed at increasing quality education, training, and counseling services. Rhombus is providing administrative support and office locations for New Vision Counseling Center. This notification is to clarify the relationship between New Vision Counseling Center and Rhombus as you may see both agencies’ names in your paperwork. We are all available for further questions.
